Den 15-18 september beger sig Sagittarii Holmiae ut på resa! Vi besöker fantastiska The Longbow Shop och skjuter i två dagar vid Crosby Hall Estate.

Fänikan har besökt The Longbow Shop en gång tidigare och det var helt fantastiskt. Rader av långbågar får fritt testas i butikens egna skyttebana. En svår plåga för plånboken.

Vi besöker butiken fredag 16 sep. Därpå blir det skytte vid Crosby Hall Estate:

Welcome to the North West’s only Mark and two-way clout weekend to be hosted and run by The Longbow Club in affiliation with the ILAA (International Longbow Archers Association). If you shoot the english longbow you don’t want to miss this one. A truly traditional shoot for English Longbows only using the aiming and ranging traditions as practised into the 16th Century.

Saturday 17th September

• Registration before 13.45hrs to start at 14.00pm
• 14.00 – Two way clout shooting at traditional roundel targets.
• 18.30 – 2-course Archers Supper at £10 per head inc talk (book direct with CHET Centre). Mr Bryan Mooyaart (Captain of The Fraternity of St George) will be giving a talk on the ‘History of Shooting at the Marks’ following the meal.

Sunday 18th September

• Registration before 10.15hrs to start at 10.30am
• 10.30 – Shooting at the Marks (Artillery Shoot)
• 13.00 – 2-course meal at £10 per head (book direct with CHET Centre)
• 14.00 to 15.00 – shooting at speed with presentations to follow

Schema för resa blir som följer:

Torsdag 15 sep:

• Kl 7:40-9:10 flyg ARN-Manchester (SAS, SK2547).
• Transport till Liverpool (hyrbil).
• Incheckning hotell i Liverpool, fri aktivitet.

Fredag 16 september:

• Besök på The Longbow Shop.

Lördag-söndag 17-18 september:

• Transport till Crosby Hall Estate (morgonen).
• Incheckning boende.
• Skytte och kvällsaktiviteter enligt ovan.

Söndag 18 september:

• Skytte enligt ovan.
• Transport till Manchester flygplats.
• Kl. 18:35-21:50 flyg Manchester-ARN (SAS, SK2550).

Du som inte vill besöka The Longbow Shop kan naturligtvis dyka upp enbart still skyttet. Eller tvärtom, för den delen. Men skicka gärna ett mail till fänikan för att berätta om du följer med, så kan vi samordna hotellbokningar och hyrbil. Detta kommer att bli jättekul!
