The weather was supposed to be horrible, snowy and cold. Instead, the Sagittarii Holmiae-archers was blessed with a wonderful day in the winter sun, today!

We all gathered at scenic Stora skuggan, north of Stockholm, beginning the shoot with an Archer’s Luncheon (or to be more precise, a ”Swedish fika”). Then off to the fields!

As usual, we shot ”at the marks”, celebrating the tradition of the English longbow. And as always, we all had a wonderful time!

Thanks to everyone who participated. Prepare for the December shoot! Maybe a bit more in a winter wonder land? Winter is, indeed, coming. And the North remembers.
