This prestigious event will enjoy the secluded beauty of Chevening, the country retreat of the Foreign Secretary. The Middle and North Parks are in a commanding position below the scarp of the North Downs astride the route reputedly taken by King Harold in 1066 days before the Battle of Hastings. The ground also crossed East to West by the Pilgrims way.
